This comic was made 10 years ago, so having a 51" TV was a pretty big deal back then.  Fast forward to 2013, and I'm currently watching Storage Wars on my 52" TV while wirelessly updating my website in a recliner as an automaton feeds me grapes.

 

It's always funny looking back on how technology has changed over time.  It makes me think of the scene from the 1995 movie Hackers where the one guy was so excited by the "state-of-the-art" 56k modem that he wanted it to "have his babies".
