Cartoons For Sale was a physical collection of comics that focused on work in a retail environment.  Matt oftentimes created them based off of his co-workers, and posted them around the store he worked in during his college years.

 

While the content of the comics were quite a hit amongst the employees, Matt was oftentimes considered a thorn in a manager's side.  Most managers refused to be "the one" manager who removed the popular comic collection that employees have come to enjoy, but eventually Matt took his comics too far, and one manager said "enough was enough".

 

Matt's comics were then banned from the store, but they were still frequently found popping up on occasion.
