I obviously thought that the best way to kick off the book was to threaten the lives of whoever cracked it open, apparently.  I can't say that I regret it, though.  In a workplace teeming with immature adolescents, this book miraculously remained unscathed and free of damage during the several years that I had it placed in the store.
