I remember this being a common occurrence when walking around the college campus.  Some might say, "Why don't you just wear your glasses all the time if you can't see?" to which I would reply, "Who said that?!  SHOW YOURSELF!"

 

In all seriousness, my eyesight isn't all that poor.  For instance, I am able to complete my daily commute to work without running over pedestrians on most occaisions.
