You never really know when you'll end up creating a regular character and a 'fan favorite'.  I never would've guessed it, but Bill The Nude Model kept rearing his ugly head(s) in later strips as well as guest comics and fan art that people sent us.  It seems that drawing ugly old nude men is not as ENTIRELY unpleasant as I thought.

I still remember these art classes from college (that's what psychological scarring does to you).  The biggest problem obviously was getting used to looking at wrinkled or excessively hairy nude models.  Occasionally, we’d get a jewel of a woman to model for us, but every other day was a virtual freak show, as wrinkled old men jumped boldly up onto the table and threw off their robes, wearing nothing but a smile.

This is why I have an excess of male portraits in my portfolio.  Not that I'm not secure enough to draw another man's gear, I'd just rather not draw a 'Chia Snake' right before lunch.
